Looks of the season part 1

We are well in to Autumn and my first post is dedicated to one of the looks for this season. The first look is the ever classic trench coat.

In every classics collection, the trench coat is a prerequisite.  It has become such a versatile classic which is why it should be in every womans wardrobe. The key thing to remember with the trench is to make sure that it fits your shape and getting a size too big will not be flattering at all. Colour wise, you should have a black and a camel coloured trench coat. Doesn’t matter what you have underneath, trenches look great over black opaques either plain black or patterned, pumps (most likely darker colours) or ankle booties. In this post, I have chosen a trench from Witchery which is more a brown/khaki colour.

Of course I could have taken the easy way out and shown the ultimate trench coat makers, Burberry, however for most of us their trench coats is out of our price ranges. Although I have vowed that one day, a Burberry will be mine!
